 About Laura Wu:

 

Laura started down the path of health and wellness as a student athlete. She retains a B.A. in Communications from UCSD. Upon graduation she returned home to coach Track & Field at her alma mater Mt. Pleasant high school in East Side San Jose. She currently works as a personal trainer and fitness supervisor at Club Sport San Ramon. She retains certifications with NASM, TRX, and Baby Boot Camp/ACE. In her past, she has titled in the Miss Chinatown USA and Miss Asian America Scholarship Competition. In her personal life she is a full-time wife to a hard-working husband and mom to two young boys.

Only 48 percent of women are satisfied with their careers, compared to 59 percent of men — a gap that has only widened from year to year, according to a Mergis Group survey.
